A contrarian approach to your to-do list

When less is more

You’re ambitious. Of course.

You probably have big, hairy and scary goals. Good.

And those big, hairy goals probably have you running behind a massive daily to-do list. You’ve most likely resorted to all kinds of systems and productivity hacks to get through it without going insane.

But here’s the thing.

What matters as much, if not more, as the to-do list, is your energy and frame of mind while going down the list.

I’m not just talking about your energy in terms of avoiding burn-out, although that is super important too.

I’m talking about being in an energetic state that actually SUPPORTS you to make progress towards your big goals.

Because see, it’s not so much WHAT you do as WHO you are when you do it.

Meaning that the person you are, or the energetic state you’re in when you do things will support you as much as the actions you actually take.

And this is where the advice gets unconventional.

You want to have big goals, sure.

But you also want to set the to-do list expectation to a minimum.
